With The Situation workout DVD coming out this December it is generating quite the buzz, and I just wanted to share a few ways to succeed at any workout program you decide to partake in. Now by just looking at the Situations physique you can tell he is no stranger to hard work and dedication, I must be frank and say you will not achieve the look of Mike Sorentinno by only commiting yourself half way. To achieve his low level of bodyfat follow these 3 steps…
1) Dedication And Goal Setting- This may be the absolute most important part of the process, YOU absolutely must set clear and defined goals with an action plan to achieve them. To explain this further if you are skinny now then you need to set a plan to gain 1lb of muscle a week or if your overweight you need to plan on losing maybe 3lbs of fat per week etc. Before starting out plan out your workouts, pay your gym dues in advance, find and tell someone your goals(this will help with accountability) take before and after pictures, and learn how to cook your own food.
2) Proper Nutrition Program- This plays a huge role in the outcome of the results you achieve while doing the situation workout, In a recent interview Mike “The Situation” states you must follow a diet that is rich with whole foods and to avoid cookies, candies, cakes, snacks and sugary foods, also cutting out sodas and opting for water.
This may seem very basic but it is a simple logical start for most people, personally I always like to follow more of a laid out plan and I had really good luck with was Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon, this program uses a method called intermittent fasting, which means you fast for 24 hours every 48 hours. This is a very easy to follow diet and it makes it easy to still go out and eat with your friends without changing your eating habits.
If you prefer a more traditional way of dieting and not fasting Jon Benson has created what he calls the Every Other Day Diet. His diet alternates high calorie days with low calorie days to mimic they way ancient cave man used to eat to be efficient hunters and gatherers. Lets face it Cavemen were in very good shape

3) Just Follow The Program- This may seem really dumb, but if you purchase The Situation Workout just follow the exact program he sets up for you in the DVD. I repeat do not try to improvise and change the exercises and make it your own lets face it, if you change it you are not doing the situation workout and you may not get the same results.
